Could that image or video be fake?

  • Do not share it.
  • Do not blame the person in it.
  • Tell a trusted adult or DSL.
  • Use Childline, Report Remove, CEOP or IWF.

Pupil activity sheet

Look for warning signs:

  • Odd eyes, teeth, mouth, hands or text.
  • Face edge halo or flicker.
  • Lighting that does not match.
  • Out-of-character or threatening context.

Parent guide

If your child is affected:

  • Stay calm and listen.
  • Do not blame them.
  • Do not ask them to forward the image.
  • Save usernames, URLs and threat messages where safe.
  • Report through the correct official route.
